Our Pledge

We are committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for everyone contributing to OpenDots, regardless of experience level, background, or identity.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contribute to a positive environment include:

  • Using respectful and inclusive language

  • Being considerate of different viewpoints and experiences

  • Giving and receiving constructive feedback

  • Focusing on what is best for the community

Unacceptable behavior includes:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or personal attacks

  • Trolling, insulting, or derogatory comments

  • Public or private harassment of any kind

  • Publishing others’ private information without consent

Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying standards of acceptable behavior and will take appropriate action in response to any unacceptable conduct.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all project spaces, including GitHub repositories, issues, pull requests, discussions, and any official communication channels related to OpenDots.

Enforcement

Instances of abusive or unacceptable behavior may be reported to the project maintainers. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.

Project maintainers reserve the right to remove, edit, or reject contributions that do not align with this Code of Conduct.

Enforcement Guidelines

Actions taken by maintainers may include:

  • Warning the contributor

  • Temporary or permanent ban from the project

  • Removal of offending content
